Welcome and thank you for your interest in Hawaii Leeward Planning Conference.
Membership to the Hawaii Leeward Planning Conference (HLPC) is obtained through a multi-step process beginning with nomination by a current member in good standing, completion of the required Membership Form, and Executive Committee approval. Once approved, a nominee is put to vote among the HLPC membership for a 2/3 ratification.
To qualify for membership, you must be a major stakeholder who devotes a substantial portion of time to development, planning, use of resources, infrastructure, and advocacy for related policy making.
Membership may be sought in one of the following categories:
Category I: Persons or entities owning, leasing or controlling land for the purpose of developing or having it developed for uses other than agriculture alone.
Category II: Persons or entities owning, leasing or controlling land for active agricultural production primarily; and persons or entities of one individual in or offering services related to either or both of the forgoing.
Category III: All others, including persons or entities in or offering services related to either or both of the foregoing.
